“When we found an ideal home for our needs, we weren’t ready to move. We had just painstakingly remodeled the home we were living in, and although the location and layout of the new home were perfect, the interior was not. We hired Modern Interior and worked with Elisha to develop and implement a plan that would maximize our dollars and effort and get us to the interior we wanted as quickly and painlessly as possible. We were overwhelmed by trying to rework a strange kitchen, turn a small bedroom into a multipurpose office/bedroom and what to do with an expansive basement that lacked warmth. Elisha solved all of those problems and more, giving us a clear, actionable plan that we followed with amazing results. We are truly proud to show off our home and love living in it. My only regret is not hiring them for our first remodel. The biggest takeaway I can share is that you shouldn’t assume that interior designers just pick out colors and make look books. Modern Interior helped us with those things but also with really practical decisions like how to split up the large basement space, a near-free modification to the kitchen cabinets before the new counters went on, and detailed furniture selections and arrangement to maximize space.
